This is the big one. I actually wish SOCOM would’ve launched with all the features that 1.30 offers and it would’ve had much better reviews. Regardless, to people who have SOCOM then you’ll be extremely happy with the load of updates this patch is offering you. Slant Six’s blog has 7 different posts detailing all [...]
The Japanese news site is not reporting, as some outlets have claimed, that Lumines is being released as a game within LittleBigPlanet. No indication of the skin being downloadable content, so we’re going to guess it’s already included in the game. Lumines Supernova is expected for release this “winter,” meaning sometime before the end of [...]
Huge new Home article over at IGN. Basicly all the same old stuff we heard before so go read it if you wish. The point of this post? Well Sony is still sticking by the Home will be out by the end of the year. So that means about 35 days away. [...]
We’ve introduced our very own PlayStation credit card to offer fans a new way to show off their PlayStation pride and earn reward points towards the purchase of PlayStation and SONY products.
We’ve even sweetened the pot with a special introductory offer. Starting today until December 31, 2008, you could save $150 on the purchase of [...]
IGN (95/100): “Resistance 2 is one of those games that manages to expand on its predecessor in every way. The single player is epic in scope and in story, which is practically worth the price of admission by itself.”
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift Game Director Nigel Kershaw has revealed that weekly DLC is being planned. “We’ve got a pile of stuff waiting in the wings,” he said, “and you’ll be glad to know, a lot of it is free.”
I know all of you were expecting to play littlebigplanet the same weekend as fable 2, but now plans have changed. Sony released an official statement, stating:
During the review process prior to the release of Little Big Planet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a [...]
Sony has announced they’ll soon be releasing an AC adapter that can charge two PS3 peripherals. It’s coming to Japan on Dec. 18 for 2,800 yen (about $28 USD).
No date or info yet for a US release but people are expecting it to cost much less here.
Seems there was a bug with WipEout HD that made the game freeze with people that had over 50 friends on their PSN. Although it is live only on European servers, it is believed that North America should see the patch today or tomorrow.
“If at any time you have had over 50 users in your [...]
At first this wasn’t going to be a feature for people but after LBP devs ran some polls on the PS3 forums they have decided to work it into retail release based on user feedback.
Probably for the best because some of the levels I’ve been seeing lately are incredible and extremely time consuming to make.
LittleBigPlanet has a treat for the people who committed themselves to buying LBP and playing it during the first week of its launch.
You will be able to download a space suit costume for SackBoy, free of charge, from within the game. Sony says the suit will be a way for players to proclaim, “I [...]
There have been some good rumors going around that the Sony PS3 would drop in price. Especially after the big price drops recently with the Xbox 360. Awhile ago I didn’t see Sony doing this as they just started to profit on the PS3 and they have so much debt with the PS3 as it [...]
You can now go to PSN and look for the Premium Themes section and download “approximately 6-10 new “Premium Themes” a month.” The price should be $1-$2 and will probably coordinate with whatever game releases are happening that month.
Just a quick heads up for all you GT5 Prologue owners. If you go ahead and load up that game you’ll be prompted to update which will award you with 3 brand new cars once it finished installing.
The three cars will be the GT by Citreon, Ferrari California and the Lotus Evora. The GT by [...]
